COVID-19 Rent Deferral Plan
Quick Facts
- Approved by the Harbor Commission on 5/20/20 (Board Meeting 5/20/20 Agenda Item) a waiver to extend for three months through September 30, 2020 was approved on the 7/24/20 (Board 7/24/2020) Meeting.
- Deferrals apply to rent for April, May, June, July, August and September 2020
- Only for those tenants whose accounts were not already in arrears prior to the shelter in place of March 17, 2020
- Rents for April, May, June, July, August and September 2020 can be paid over a twelve month period ending June 30, 2021
- No penalties, late charges or liens will apply for rents paid under the deferral plan
- To proceed with a deferral plan, please contact the respective Harbor/Marina to fill out a form

Additional Information
- No rent or service charge increases will take effect this year, as previously required, which would have been 3.3% to account for cost of living increases
- The percentage increase will be added to next year’s percentage increase or decrease to calculate 2021 rent increases
